M. Ponirin is born on 7 augustus 1946. Nowadays he lives in a town called Sanur (Bali). Ponirin attended the art academy to achieve this level of expertise. When he turned 18 he learned to paint because he joined a group of painters. Ponirin invented the borobudurstyle. Ponirin even has an painting in the AMAY museum (Belgium).
